Community involvement

Somewhere along the way, community around the world is not as important as it once was. We can change that by choosing to be involved….and here are just a few ways that you, as residents, can do that.

If you subscribe to this website, you will be sent information about new upcoming events or you can visit the News + Events page. You can keep an eye on the Notice Board, the community Facebook page, or chat to your neighbour to hear what’s coming up. Residents will also receive emails from the Body Corporate.

Events, learning and clubs

Chat, learn and share ideas….or just have some fun.

Once The Community Farm is up and running, there will be lots of opportunities which will be posted on the News + Events page.

There are already some special interest groups for residents to join. Koalition (habitat revegetation project) and the Natural Environment Working Group. Any resident who’s is interested in joining these groups can send an email to capeocc@ourcapelife.org.

Health and wellbeing

Nurture your body and mind.

Swimming at Bay Beach – every morning (and we do mean EVERY morning) from 9am. It is very informal, so you never know who you will meet up with.

Remember to check Willy Weather for tides and conditions, know your abilities and let someone know where you will be swimming.

Volunteer

Volunteering can make you feel really good and it can also make a real difference.

At the moment, volunteering is limited, but once The Community Farm is operational, there will be lots of opportunities on offer.
