Saturday, 13 April – Koala Planting 2.2

WHEN: Saturday, 13th April, 2024 at 1.30pm;

WHERE: We will be meeting at the beach end of Sunlight Bvld;

WHAT: Phase 2.2 is the continuation of the Koala project; the creation of a koala corridor to help provide food and shelter for our Koala population along with a diverse habitat for the local native animals. We will be planting mini-forests in multiple plots between Sunlight Bvld and Wilsons Road;

WHAT TO BRING: Dress in working/gardening clothes and enclosed footwear, bring gardening gloves, protective eye wear, a hat (or beanie!), gardening tools (but don’t worry, we will have some), some water to keep you hydrated along with a sense of spirit and fun;

The planting should take a couple of hours depending on the number of people. If you have any questions, would like to be involved on the day or become a custodian for a mini-forest plot please contact John Godfrey

Tuesday, April 2 – Koala Project Planting

WHEN: Tuesday 2nd April, 2024 at 9.30am;

WHERE: We will be meeting at the beach end of Sunlight Bvld;

WHAT: Phase 2 is the continuation of the Koala project; the creation of a koala corridor to help provide food and shelter for our Koala population along with a diverse habitat for the local native animals. We will be planting mini-forests in multiple plots between Sunlight Bvld and Wilsons Road;

WHAT TO BRING: Dress in working/gardening clothes and enclosed footwear, bring gardening gloves, protective eyewear, a hat (or beanie!), gardening tools (but don’t worry, we will have some), some water to keep you hydrated along with a sense of spirit and fun;

AFTER: Stay and enjoy a casual BBQ. Please bring a plate to share (some sausages will be provided).
